The word fintech has gone beyond a buzzword today in the African market. It is continually shaping how we transact offline and offline, leading to its rise across the continent. Over the years, the African Fintech Industry has been a massive influx of funding. According to the Nigerian Startup Funding Project, Nigerian fintech startups have raised over $1 billion between 2018 and 2021.
It’s been interesting to see how the African Fintech Industry has continued to take great strides over the years, as it’s anticipating exponential growth and quick acceleration beyond the borders of Africa.

1. The Fintech Summit:
The Fintech Summit is organised by Techpoint and will hold at Four Points by Sheraton, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos on the 26th of November 2022. 2. Seamless Africa Summit 2022
The Seamless Africa Summit 2022 promises to be insightful. The two-day event will hold on the 4-5 of October 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya. With over 80 speakers in the financial ecosystem coming together to discuss, debate and evaluate its future. 3. Nigeria Fintech Week 2022
The Nigeria Fintech Week (NFW) is the largest industry event in Africa which fosters significant breakthroughs, strategic alliances, and ecosystem changes. It has been revolutionary in igniting and constructing the FinTech industry across Africa, boosting local innovation to address Africa’s technological problems, reducing cross-border restrictions on FinTech activities, and encouraging stakeholder cooperation.

4. Africa Fintech Summit

It is backed by an advisory board of fintech pioneers and thought leaders. Holding on the 3rd- 4th of November 2022 in Capetown, South Africa. It promises to be a typical dry technology conference but rather a vibrant community of investors, regulators, fintech entrepreneurs, and everyone else working together while addressing the most pressing financial problems of our time. It will lean towards effecting change and encouraging the one-on-one connections that shape the industry and create a better tomorrow, not just a panel discussion or exhibition.
