Pay.com of the UK has partnered with Cross River Bank of New Jersey to support the growth of the latter’s commercial payments platform in the US and to aid in its development.
Cross River offers “millions” of customers and enterprises technology infrastructure, including scalable embedded payments, cards, and loan solutions.
To support Pay.com’s global expansion and provide businesses and merchants with “efficient” payment options, the company will make use of its embedded solutions and adaptable APIs.
The collaboration, which has been in place since July 2022, enables the payment service provider’s present and future merchants to accept a variety of payment options, including debit and credit cards as well as non-traditional payment options including ACH transfers and digital wallets.
What The Partnership Is All About
Pay.com is also able to offer customer-centric payment capabilities thanks to Cross River’s API infrastructure, enabling closed-loop embedded financial solutions for retailers and companies.
It will be able to “grow and reach new markets” thanks to Cross River’s infrastructure in terms of compliance, payments, and technology, according to Cross River CEO and President Gilles Gade.
Assaf Cohen, CEO of Pay.com, says that Cross River’s “expertise in embedded finance” and “regulatory infrastructure” will aid in the company’s expansion and provide merchants with access to the most recent payment technologies.
