Reason for the Resignation
The employees were resigning in protest to Elon Musk’s demand that they should choose to be “extremely hardcore”, working long hours or lose their jobs.
This is coming after the mass sacking (3,700 workers) of the new Twitter owner. The lead engineers have also resigned.
Twitter Hits All-Time Usage Indeed As Outage is Reported
The trending hashtags #RIPTwitter and #GoodbyeTwitter could however be true. This is because Twitter users are experiencing an outage on the platform.
This was confirmed by internet monitoring platform Down Detector which reveals a total of 1,940 Twitter outage reports have been filed in the last 24 hours.

What Is Musk’s Reaction?
The report has however claimed that Musk is unmoved by the current happenings in the tech company. In his reply, he said, “the best people are staying, so I am not super worried.”
Conclusion
I think he should be worried because the trending hashtags #RIPTwitter and #GoodbyeTwitter could be true after all. With many planning to leave the Twitter platform, the company is definitely on the verge of collapse.
We however hope he has a change of heart and more primitive measures soon.
