Visit the official e-Auction site https://auction.nigeriatradehub.gov.ng.
Create an account by providing personal information.
Agree to the terms and conditions set by the Nigeria Customs Service.
2. Verification Process
Provide a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN), linked email address, and phone number for verification.
The Nigeria Customs may perform an identity verification process.
3. Administrative Charge
Pay a nominal Administrative Charge of N1,000 for successful sign-up on the Customs Service e-Auction platform.
4. Fund E-Wallet
Log in to the auction site.
Create an e-wallet and fund it to enable bidding on displayed items.

5. Viewing e-Auction Listings
Browse through the listings of items available for auction.

6. Nigeria Customs Bidding Period
Auctions open every Tuesday at noon and close at 6 pm.

7. Notice of Winning Bid
Participants with the highest bids are notified immediately after the bid period ends.
Winners must download their winning certificates promptly via the provided email link.
8. Payment
Winners must pay for the items won within a specified time frame.
Payment methods and instructions are provided on the e-Auction site, and money should not be paid into any personal account.
9. Clearance Process
Winners must provide the winning certificate at the location where their goods are kept.
The clearance process takes seven days.
10. Terms and Conditions
Nigeria Customs Officers and owners of seized items are ineligible to participate.
Winning bids must be validated at the Customs Area Controllers’ offices.
Conclusion
Prompt payment, including a 7.5% VAT, and a refundable container deposit (if applicable), are mandatory.
